Diversity

As a woman-owned company, KGPCo is certified by the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) and California Public Utilities Commission Supplier Diversity Program as a Women Business Enterprise (WBE). KGPCo has a history of supporting diverse businesses through mentoring, and through direct sourcing of products and services from diverse suppliers like Allegiance Supply and YP Solutions.


KGPCo’s THRIVE initiative is designed to support the development and advancement of women within the company. THRIVE consists of a mentoring program, internal and industry networking opportunities, and the THRIVE Spotlight award that recognizes exceptional female Employees and their contributions to the business.

Our mission extends beyond the preservation and growth of our woman-owned legacy.

Community

Giving is an important part of KGPCo’s history and is a priority for our company. We take pride in being active, engaged members of the communities in which we live and work. In giving back to important causes, KGPCo and its Employees live a culture of community involvement and giving.

In addition to KGPCo’s corporate-level community involvement, a portion of annual company earnings are directed to local philanthropic causes and community development initiatives through our affiliated Putrah Family Foundation. The Putrah Family Foundation provides support to several organizations, with a focus on opportunities for women, educational organizations, sustainability and environmental preservation initiatives, elderly wellbeing programs, and youth athletic programs.

KGPCo partners with Suppliers to ensure they have policies and processes that support generally accepted standards for social responsibility and sustainability. Through these partnerships, we support our Customers' policies that ensure ethical conduct in the workplace, safe working conditions, protection of sensitive information, treatment of workers with respect and dignity, and responsible manufacturing processes throughout the supply chain.
